My periods have been getting longer and heavier as each month goes by and this most recent one lasted a whole 6 days - it usually lasts 2-3! It's been 7 months since I've been off the pill (4 of which we used other means of protection!) so am thinking that maybe this just means my body has really got the pill out of its system (been on it for years and years) - and yay, maybe it means my body's really truly ready to conceive within the next few months!

Also, anyone else think they ovulate early? The more I look into it and ask around among my family and friends who r / have been PG, the more I hear that people say they conceived only a day or 2 after their period ended. So I pounced on the OH as soon as the witch packed her bags just in case

When I came off AF my period lenght stayed the same as when I was on it but AF was much heavier and crampier.

when i came off pill AF got lighter and shorter and has remained that way, they are irregular but definately lighter with less cramping

I'm only in my second cycle so not sure how it will pan out but my first was deffinately lighter and pain free - an they were already fairly light and only ever so slightly crampy.

I came off the pill in October and only had 2 cycles still waiting for the third 55 days later! so mine are completely up the shoot but sounds like yours seem to be getting back to normal I can't remember what a normal period is though!!

Mine seem to have stayed the same length but have become much heavier with worse cramps. However, I was only on the pill for 3yrs or so

I was lucky, mine seemed to work itself out immediately. It came every 24 days for both months before I fell pregnant (although I was expecting it to be 28 days it didn't work out that way). Unfortunately this doesn't happen for all women. Honestly since it's been seven months since you came off the pill I would go ahead and ask your Gynecologist or doctor about it.

i'm on my 5th cycle and i think mine are just regulating between 28-30days if my sore nipples are anything to go by

Mine were 28 days on the pill and are 28 days off it from the first month!!! I was stunned. I get an irregular cycle once about every 5 or 6 months though... like a 24 day or a 31 day - but i read that's pretty normal... As to early ovulation, i'm almst POSITIVE I do too... but i've just started temping so now i hope to see for sure...
