I'm Currently Feeling: | What we hoped was a BFP was my appendix!! After waiting and waiting for AF to show and negative HPT's we had given up hope of it being a positive for us this month but we werent giving up hope until AF arrived! Then on Thursday (18th Jan) night I started getting cramps thinking Af was on her way stocked up on the usual Friday morning I got up for work as normal and surprised to see no AF but still quite sore........it went on all day by the time I got home was in agony and went to see my GP who sent me to the local hospital. They thought I had an eptopic pregnancy but werent sure. After several test etc off I went and had my apendix out But instead of the usual appendicectomy they did a laparoscopy first to have a look and found I had a small cyst on my right ovsry and an inflamed right fallopian tube. They haventsaid whats caused it all but I have got to go back when I have recovered from my surgery. So lots more time to spend reading posts on here now as Im off for the next six weeks!!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | so sorry it was not a BFP hun
you can join the club though I had my appendix removed when i was 2! So you aren't alone. Glad that you went and saw a doctor about it, as appendicitis can be deadly if left untreated! Hope you start feeling well again soon. I hope the problem with your ovary and tube isn't serious and you can start TTC as soon as you're feeling well enough. xoxo |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Aww hun, you poor thing!!
It's probably good that they've found that now, rather than later.
Get better soon!

I'm Currently Feeling: | oh i am very sorry...i had my apendix remove when i was 12 years old and i also had a small groups of cysts on both of my ovaries but they remove them on the same time than my appendix.
did they remove your cyst or you have to go back for that? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thank you everyone. No they said they left the cyst as it was quite small! To be honest they werent very clear about anything other than my appendix! When I went and saw my own GP and had a little cry on his shoulder about it as we have been TTC since September he refused to even talk about it until I had recovered fully from both ops. |
