| 53 days since last period going mad.... Morning ladies!
have any of you waited this long b4 your period has shown? this should be my 3rd cycle since coming off the pill in October and nothing still...i did a pg test 2 weeks ago and was neg not sure whether it is just my periods trying to readjust to normal life off the pill or in fact I tested too early? will probably do a test on Saturday just to get it out of my brain but still doesn't solve the prob of missing period | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think its quite common. I've only had 1 cycle off and i went 30 days - I'm not banking on it settling right away. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It could still be your body adjusting to coming off BCP. I think I'd go mad with periods that long. If it keeps up you may want to consider consulting your dr? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've been on the pill for 12 years and came off it at the end of August - so far my cycles have gone from 31 days to a massive 44 days this month! I did so many pregnancy tests and even went to the doctor but apparentely it can take woman months for the bodies to re-adjust to a "normal" cycle. I felt confused as my af arrived at the same time for 3 months (28th or 29th) and then in December it just went totally up the left and didn't arrive until Jan 11th.
I can totally understand your frustration because it feels like you are waiting so so so long for something to happen. I just kept worrying that my period would never return but it did eventually.
To be honest I spent so long worrying about it last month with tests etc this month I'm trying not to get too stressed about it and haven't looked into things as much. I dont have a clue when my af will arrive this month tho so it will be interesting to see what happens. Have you experienced any side effects since being off the pill? I've noticed my skin has become much spottier and hair is greasier, kinda feels like I'm going through puberty again!
I hope your af arrives soon and your cycles sort themselves out I'm sure they will though I can understand how you feel x | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | i think im in the same boat but not as extreme, i een off the pill since sept 07, first AF was 36days then 24 then 34 then 30, waiting to see what this month will bring!! i was on the pill for 11 years, just started charting this month and it doesn't seem like i ov, only got the hang of it towards the back of the month with lots of inaccurate readings before but it doesn't seem like i am. I read yesterday that you don't always ov straight away after coming off bcp but not sure how long "normal" is |
