The pain is back, and worse than I remember!!!

When I was a teen, I had the worst periods imaginable. I would pass huge clots, be bed ridden for two days, and vomit, get migranes, back pain, the works.

Well, after I "found" aunt flo yesterday, it only took a few hours for her to put me on my back. I took percocet, tylenol, heat, lay in every position possible, and had no relief. I was in tears most of the night from the pain.

Well upon checking to change my pad (I don't use tampons) I noticed that I had passed a rather sizeable piece of tissue. This has only happened to me once before, probably about 7 years ago, and I was too scared of it to do anything about it. It's light pink/grayish, a little veiny, and has no stretch to it. After the surrounding blood is washed off, it's not bleeding or bloody. (I know this sounds so gross that I examined it but I was tempted to take it in to the doctor to have it analyzed and didn't want to bring in a bloody mess). I remember last time this happened I wondered whether I had miscarried or something like that, but this time, i KNOW i was not pregnant due to all the negative pregnancy tests I took in the days leading up to this, and the 3 days of low temps prior to my period.

Has anyone ever experienced this before?
I've taken some pain meds today and they've helped a little, enough so i can sit at the computer for a few minutes but I'll probably go back to bed soon.
Does anyone know? I've tried googling it but didn't find anything conclusive.

Oh my! I have no idea what that could be but it doesn't sound pleasant at all. Maybe call up your doctor and ask about it.

I had something like that once too. The doctor told me it was a "buildup of tissue or uterine lining" or something like that. I hope you can get it figured out. <3

Sorry your in pain i dont know what the tissue stuff could be, have you been ruled out for having Endo?? As that is a cause of very painful periods.
