advice on ovulation....3 dpo..advice needed !

Hello everyone

I have recently got a +OPK (3 days ago ) and have had a positive every day although today was the first one that was really strong - the test line was much stronger than the control line but the last 2 days have been so faint
so just just wandering when did I ovulate and what day would have been the most fertile day?
We BD on day 1, not 2 and then again day 3 ( today )
I have been temping - my temp was the highest 3 days ago - had dropped ever so slightly today and yest but still very high compared to the rest of the month
I'm just worried as we didn't BD on day 2 as hubby was on nights
but made up for it today - hoping it is not to late ?
- Also how long would you leave it to test ?
I'm usually a 30 day cycle and on CD21 so have ovulated quite late
Thanks
xxx

Also can someone help me with something ?

If I have had a +OPK does that mean that I have ovulated for sure ?

Sorry this is all new to me !

Hi. If you got the + today then it's likely you haven't O'd yet. You can expect to O around 12 - 36 hours after getting the +. I would get busy if I was you! Now is your best chance time. Good luck. I hope it works out for you

Oops forgot you're 2nd question. OPK's don't tell you when you've ovulated they measure the hormone that triggers Ovulation so they warn you that it's about to happen. The only way of knowing that you have ovulated for sure (this will only happen after the event) is if you are charting your BBT - You need a good rise and for it to stay up for 3 days in a row. So between the 2 things you get an all round picture. Hope this helps.
