| I am so confused by my cycle...
My last 'real' period was December 7th. I ovulated on CD 16 and on CD 20 I had a massive temp dip, which I didn't know about till late in the day. (I temped in the dark in the middle of the night and had to work at 5am. I didn't check the memory until I got home after 6pm.) That day I felt dreadful. Horrible cramps, so thirsty that even after 100 ounces of water I still had a sore throat, nausea, no appetite, and sore boobs. The next day I felt great, except I was spotting. I spotted on and off until my period was due, then I spotted bright red for 2 days instead of getting my period. My temps soared, my boobs REALLY started hurting, I was always either starving, or too sick to eat, and I was exhausted all the time. I got 2 negative tests and didn't bothering testing anymore, I just made a doctor appointment. Things went like this until Jan 11th. I started spotting lightly. This lasted 6 days before I started cramping and bleeding and my temperatures started to drop. I went to the emergency room because I had nowhere else to go. I was either 18 days late or 2 weeks early with a missed period. The doctors there were so condescending and insulting to me. But I got a blood test and an ultra sound.
The blood test was negative and they treated me like I was a hysterical woman with a late period. It was the nurse that told me I could have miscarried days before, or even more rare, maybe my numbers hadn't converted yet. She told me to just monitor myself and wait for my doctor.
I figured I had had a miscarriage because my HCG levels were less then 1. I just can't be pregnant.
So I'm just charting and waiting...
except my temps have yet to drop to pre-ovulation levels, my boobs still hurt so very bad, I'm still so nauseous that I can literally gag while I'm talking, and I'm still really fatigued.
For one day my ovaries actually felt like they were trying to ovulate, but the feeling only lasted one day, and still my temps have not dropped.
This is driving me crazy!!
I need to get on after this miscarriage, but my body doesn't seem like it can. It's like it's stuck thinking it's pregnant.
The worst part is that my boobs are still getting bigger. It's annoying because I reach near freak show proportions. If I need another bra I'm going to have to special order. |
