Can anyone think of an excuse to go out of the house right now to get tests that wouldnt be a dead giveaway that I am going to get HPTs? I rode home from work with Hubby and he says ABSOULTELY NO MORE HPTs til my beta comes back, All I have are cheapies (which gave me another line that I cant tell if its real or evap)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated LOL

If the line comes straight away it must be a real one, right? Even if it's faint .. my money is on BFP

The line came under 5 minutes for sure, but I never watch them, I leave them and come back. Tomorrow morning, Im watching that stick like a hawk LOL

Physchiatrist: So, tell me about yourself.

Me: Well, I wake up in the morning and count the hours between the last time I urinated, to see how concentrated my first morning urine should be. If I woke in the middle of the night and used the bathroom, then I try to hold out as long as possible to make sure that it has been at least 8 hours.


Physchiatrist: Go on.

Me: Well, then I pee on a stick (or three) and run to the kitchen to set the egg timer for 3 minutes. I pace, feed the dog, pace, brush my teeth (with my eyes closed so that I don't peak too early) So, then when the three minutes are up, I go look at the stick(s)

Physchiatrist: And then

Me: Well, I look at the stick(s) at every lighting situation, every angle, take the test apart... and usually become content on the fact that the test must be wrong.

Physchiatrist: You realize this is obsessive behavior, correct?

Me: Yes... sorta... um, so, then I go to work, and log onto my computer and look at the sticks that other women have peed on, taken apart, color-iverted....

Physchiatrist: Joe, can you please prepare the seditive and grab that "jacket" over there.



I'm sure alot of use would be considered certifyable

That's hilarious ! Good thing the Physchiatrist doesn't know about us checking our cervixes and licking microscopes to check the "pattern" yet

But it's true, everything about this TTC business becomes obsessive

somethings are very sacred... you would never tell your Physchiatrist the color and flexibility of your cervical mucus, or the cervical possition...no no no, than bit of info is sacred only to yourself, and all of your internet ttc cyber buddies
