I had been taking the pill for 10 years. During the last six months I was on the mini pill. I stopped taking this on 6 sept 2007. I had a period on 17 sept and another on 17 oct. Then I did not have another until 5 dec 2007. To date I have not had another period. Also this month I have not had any tender breasts, cramps or back ache that I think is around ovulation stage. I know that people say that it takes time for my body to settle down but how long is a piece of string. Reading the other logs I know that you are like me and as soon as you haven't come on your period you start to think that this month you could be pregnant, but yet another negative pregnancy test. I have stopped buy the clear view tests as they cost an arm and a leg.
To make matters worse my friend had a one night stand and fell pregnant, this is unwanted and see is going through the procedure of an abortion.
I am so upset with this, I was the same as a lot of women that stop taking the pill and say let nature run its course, but you can't do that. My husband bless him really wants a baby too and gets excited if I haven't come on my period and then his hopes are dashed as well

I came off BCP at new year & AF was due yesterday. Still no sign! Because of it being like clockwork when your on the pill I did get a little excited but I now realise that it could take a while for my body to settle down. I did ask the same thing though....how long do you wait!!
