Is there a high chance of having a miscarriage??????
Cuz thats kinda holding me back from TTC at the moment is the fear of losing my child..
So i just wanted to know is it always a High chance or usually a low chance of having a miscarriage?
and does me be 18 make it higher ???

Many people are fine, but yeah some do. I did with my first child, but that was purely because i had a lot of stuff going on, didnt know i was pregnant and so want looking after myself properly.
Sorry, thats not really helpful is it? lol!
But as you can see from the number of pregnant women on this site, they were fine, so im sure you will be to hun!

My consultant said its about 1 in 5/6 that miscarry in first 12 weeks. Usually nothing that can be done and not your fault if you do miscarry.

It doesnt have anything to do with age! I know people of all ages that have miscarried. Just sometimes your not lucky. Its a horrible experience, but its unavoidable.

yeah deffinitely RIP sweeties, not a day goes by i dont think about you!

Hope ive helped!

I think the chance of miscarriage is 50% in the first 4 weeks. Then it goes down ALOT. Doctors aren't very reassuring about this stuff but I'm 18 and my baby is perfectly healthy (as far as I know.) I've also never had a miscarriage even though my mum had 3.

There is no reason why being 18 would make you any less capable of carrying a baby without miscarriage. 13 year olds do it, and do it well. I'm sure you'll be fine
