I'm Currently Feeling:  | False negative?
Hi,
I'm new here but have been lurking for a while, you all seem very helpful so thought I'd ask your opinion!
The first day of my last period was Dec 28th, and shortly before this me and OH decided we would start TTC, so I finished taking the pill. I worked out ovulation to be around 11/12th Jan and my next period to start 24thish Jan (so tomorrow!). This might not be completely right though as I'm used to my period being very regular on the pill.
Anyway, about a week ago my breasts started getting very sore, nipples more pronounced than normal with white lumps, feeling a little nauseous during the day, very tired and so wishful thinking had me believing it was symptoms.
So Sunday I buy a FR test twin pack test, and Monday 21st in the morning I test and its a BFN. I used the second on today 23rd and still a BFN. i also had a very small amount of spotting this morning, but I'm still feeling much the same as I was before, but far more neurotic!
I'll probably wake up to AF tomorrow morning, but anyway, what do you think? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling:  | It is possible to get a false negative if there is not enough HCG (the pregnancy hormone) in your body to detect. Although some girls do get their BFPs immediately after BCP remember that it can take a while for others bodies to regulate and start ovulating again. Just something to keep in mind in case the  does show up this month. Good luck getting your  soon! | | | | Status: Offline

when i first got pregnant, and did a home pregnancy test, it came back negative, but i still had sympotms, so went to the nurse who tested me, and it was positive.
she told me that because i had been on the pill it had messed up my result on the test.
so maybe go see your doctor and see what he has to say.
