I am sorry to hear about your EP. I don't mean to be nosey but how far along were you? I have heard that EP are more likely in TR.

My R is 2.5 cm and L- 3.0. I had mine in April 07. Who did your TR? Where are you? Are you in the US or UK? What kind of Tubal ligation did you have? I had the coagulation back in 1999.

You are not out of the running because you have only one tube. I am on fertility friend and if you look at the charts on there, you can see that women with one tube get pregnant. Are you charting? What has your doctor reccommended?

I was five weeks along when I had the e/p. I opted to have the tube removed because I had already had 3 previous HSG's that showed that tube was blocked. I didn't want to take the chance of another e/p in that tube again. I decided to just take my chances with my one good tube because the e/p was heart wrenching. I'm in the U.S. My Dr. in Fort Worth Texas did my surgery. It's been so long I no longer chart. I used to, but I find I can't really tell anything from my temps anyways. I do have a CBEFM and I OPK every month starting on CD 10 just so I make sure not to miss my surge!

Who did your TR? What did your Dr. say your chances were? Did they give you any hope? My Dr. is trying to talk me into IVF. I just keep thinking if we did it once we can do it again!! ON OUR OWN!!!

I am in Virginia and I went ot Dr. Berger in Chapel Hill, NC. He was wonderful! He said my chances are about 70%. They called me at my 6 month mark to check on me and they told me with all the stress I had been under (my son was critically injured in May nd my father passed in Aug, then we had 2 more deaths in the family within the next 90 days after my dad) that if we hadn't gotten pregnant by April to do the hsg.
My doc here in Virginia said everything looks great, like my charts and my over all health, but we will do the hsg in April if I am not pg. After that she would like for us to talk to a fertility specialist to talk about Clomid. Because i am 35 (I will be 36 on the 25th) she would like to be a little more aggresive. So we will see.
How old are you and what kind of chances did you doctor give you? My doctors website is www.tubal-reversal.net look at his stats and success rate.
I went out of state due to stats that Dr. Berger had and his prices couldn't be beat! It is only a 3 hour drive from Richmond so that wasn't bad.
Was your doctor around you?

I am constantly on Dr. B's board trying to see how many other short tubers get BFP's and if they stick. I didn't know about him until after I had my TR. My OB referred me to my RE that did my reversal. He did and still does want me to do IVF. He gave me no stats, but he was shocked when I got my first BFP. I know it CAN happen. I just hope that it will. I'll be 38 next month so my clock is REALLY ticking. My sis just had a baby at 38 though so I guess I still have a chance. I've always been fertile myrtle. DH hasn't had a SA done. He tried, but he gets stage fright!! LOL I figure since we've already gotten one BFP he has to be ok though. I really don't think I want to know if he's not ok at this point!! LOL Ya know like low count or something. i'm pessimistic enough. I need nothing else against me!! I did clomid for months, but it really dried up my CM and also thinned my lining. I have had FOUR HSG's and my tube is still wide open. I don't know if they egg is just missing the glove though ya know??

You can go onto www.fertilityfriend.com and look on there about tubal reveral women ttc. You can get a better idea. I am not sure why they are pushing IVF now. I guess because of your age and the time frame you have been ttc. My husband has stage fright too! We did try the otc kind of test and his swimmers were fine according to those tests. My ticker is ticking loud and clear too so I feel the crunch too. I was fertile myrtle too. My children are 19, 16 1/2 and 15. But I was really young too!
I just got some Vitex yesterday to try. I looked into getting DHEA but I wasn't ready to start shaving my face just quite yet! But those are natural kinds of things to try. I am going to start with that after the comes. She is due on Valentines day! So after that I am going to try Vitex to see what happens. ButI will think of you and pray that it will happen to us soon! I know how frustrating it is. something you had so easily before is now so hard to get! I am sending you all kinds of
Good luck! Keep me posted!

What is DHEA? I don't think I've heard of that one!! My kids are 19, 17, 16, 15 and 12. DH has none of his own! I've tried all kinds of herbs. I'm just going to go solo for a few more months and see what happens. AF is due on the 18th for me. I hope she stays lost! We'll see! I'll keep you posted. You keep me posted too!! I'm not on this site much so if you get any new news e-mail me at tryingfor6@yahoo.com!!
