Feeling ready to try again?

I know that there is no right or wrong way to feel after having a mc but now I'm just waiting for AF to come so that we can try again. I'm feeling weird as I feel ready to try again (and BF is too) but is it too soon? Is it ok to try again so soon? It's bizarre I've never wanted AF so much so that I can get back on track and try again. I think about what could have been everyday and am even tearful writing this but I just feel that if we try again then I'll be doing something positive.

Sorry that probably makes no sense at all. Just needed to write down what I feel

Yes everyone is different but if you feel ready to try again then go for it ... good luck hope you get a sticky bean soon! I don't know if you were given and advice about trying again i was told to wait a cycle then it was fine to go again but with my last one being so early (about 5 weeks) the doctor didn't see any harm in trying again straight away x

I don't think that there is a right way to feel after an m/c. Some people feel they need time to recover and others would like to move on as soon as they can. It's fine as long as it feels right for you.

My friend had an m/c, but didn't know she was pregnant till it happened. Then she got pregnant right after which resulted in a healthy baby girl.

I think that makes perfect sense & I think that I would feel exactly the same. I havent been pregnant & dont KNOW if its too soon but I would say that you need to do what you feel is right for you.

Hope that helps. My thoughts are with you.

I had a miscarriage in november 2007 and was advised not to try again until my next period. I wasn't actively trying but used no protection and am pregnant again. My doctor told me that it was a good sign that i got pregnant again so quickly as it meant my body was ready this time. I hope that helps.

I think it really depends on the person, if you feel you are ready to try again than I think you should.

Hi Nutty,

I am glad you are feeling a bit better. I am in the same position as you and have just started to ttc again after a miscarriage. It is scary - I think If I get pregnant again, I will worry about it happening again. But I really want a baby and I feel that I will just have to fight my fear and move on.

Good luck hun, for whenever you decide to start ttc again. I will give you 'AF Dust!' so that you can get this cycle over and start again!

Makes perfect sense your post!

When your ready you go We just carried on trying we were told to wait after chemicals mainly for sanity but I believe further along in pregnancy & having a loss that break is a good idea.

Wishing you LOTS of luck Nutty
