I'm having some TTC blues lately

The past 2 weeks DH and i have been talking to some old friends from High School and seeing how everyone are doing. There are SOOOO many of them who have babies now and i just feel like it's no fair!!!! DH and I have been together since High School, it's been 5 years now, and we still don't have a little one of our own, and some of these guys and gals we've talked to are mummys and daddys and I didn't even know they had an OH, since last i talked with them they were single!

Some ask us where our kids are and all i can say is we've been trying but no luck so far. I just tell myself why do they get lucky and not me?

Also one of DH's best friend just updated his myspace as "New Daddy" and he just had a daughter born this past week so adorable and cute...and this guy we thought would NEVER find himself a girlfriend, and here he is with a baby already!! *sigh* i've so far counted about 10-12 old friends who are now parents and it's killing me!!!

I don't have any experience of this but I can imagine how hard it is and all I can say is sorry its rubbish and try to stay as positive as you can.
Easier said than done I know!
I'm sure your time will come sweet, just try and remember that.

Thanks girls I try to stay positive! I keep thinking now that maybe we started TTC too late and we should have start a year ago when we first tied the knot!

i'm so curious to see if there are any other old friends who have fallen pregnant or have babies now, but at the same time i don't want to get myself anymore upset! Of course i am thrilled and happy for them, i just wish i could be them...

try not to feel so down...I know exactly how you are feeling, I really do!!! There are 5 people in my life/that I know from HS at the moment who are preg (one with twins). Honestly, I really have to think about it and be appreciative that we don't have kids right now. They are such a responsibility and very expensive. I am glad we waited until now to seriously try. I have finished school, got a really good job, and we just bought our house last May, and have been able to save and go on vacations and such. With kids, I know all that that would be delayed or impossible. So try to be thankful for what you have now...and keep ttc!! Your time will come when it is right for you and your DH. We all just have different paths in life !!!

I sooooo feel your pain. My ten year HS reunion is this year so I have been catching up with people from the past only to hear that they have 1-2-3- even 4 kids now! OMG! It is so hard knowing that we have been trying for so long! I get down and out about it too and it is why I stopped TTC in the past due to being totally defeated by the news of yet another baby but now I am excited and DH and I are ready to do it right this time. LOL

I am sure your day will come soon! Keep your head up and rant any time you need to. That is what we are here for!
