I started to use the CBFM this cycle - 5th cycle of TTC. I average 25-26 days per cycle.

My last Af started on 27th December during the afternoon so I programmed my CBFM as day 1 on the 28th December as per the instructions. Therefore according to my CBFM I'm on day 24 of cycle but really I think I am on day 25? I'm getting so confused. My CBFM showed peak fertility on day 15 of cycle (or is it really day 16?) - does this mean I have ovulated late in my cycle or that my cycle will be longer this time as I have read that AF should be due after 10 days of ovulation otherwise a pregnancy will not sustain?

I started to get some what I think maybe pregnancy symptoms on Thursday day 21 (or is it really day 22?) of cycle including - very sensitive nipples especially during the night and first thing in the morning (never had this before), my boobs feel heavy, I’ve been feeling light headed with some mild headaches, constipation and now some very mild cramping type pains that are not really painful. I’ve had no spotting – I usually spot for a couple of days before AF arrives.

I got really impatient this morning and tested as AF should be due tomorrow is regular cycle - but nothing – I used some cheapy Sainsbury’s tests that say they can be used up to 4 days before AF. I think maybe I tested too early.

I don’t really know why I’m telling you all this – I know I will have to just hold out a wait but finding it so hard, I think I just would like to know if others have experienced this and what you think? Thanks

It might have been too early, maybe not. Some people have told me they did not get a BFP on a cheapie test. anyways I would test tomorrow if has not arrived yet. GOOD LUCK, keep us posted!

The way you programmed the CBFM is okay. Even if you think it is off by one day, it really shouldn't matter so long as it tells you when you are fertile. I would have started on the day that you did, since you need to start CD 1 within your testing window.

I would def test again in a couple days if AF hasn't shown up. If AF is due 10 days after Oing, that doesn't mean you cannot get preg this cycle. You can O late or early anytime really...so maybe this cycle you just O'd later than usual and might have a longer cycle. I have heard and read that your LP doesn't change, only when you O.

The dizzyness is a very good pg sign. I've known lots of people who got BFP's and that was one of their symptoms. Also remember some people don't get BFP's until AF is late so you're still in the game. Maybe since your LP is short then it will take a bit longer for the hcg levels to get high enough to show on a test.

Thanks guys - I'm feeling a bit calmer now - I was starting to get a bit worked up and felt really disappointed this morning - but my DH has been keeping me sane! I never thought TTC would be so stressful! Also several chunks of toblerone has helped.

I feel like a real hypochondriac today – I’ve worked out my mild cramping pains might actually be a stitch – I also keep feeling like I’m leaking but there is nothing actually there.

I really hope the stays away for us all.
