I suppose this is just a concern to me, is all, and I am probably about to embark upon TMI, I know, but I do apologise in advance.

Ever since I started my periods, i have had A LOT of EWCM. And, I mean a lot. Long, long strings of it that look like a runny nose without even wiping (told you it was TMI) lasting about five days.

For the past two months (since I have been TTC) I have noticed something.

Last month, on CD 14 and 15 I noticed EWCM. Not a lot, as usual, only when i wiped. Thin stuff. It lasted two days. Then, on 16th, I had a mixture of EW and creamy lotion type. Then on CD17 or 18 I had ovulation pain.


This month, I had EWCM for two days, and now nothing again. I have had no positive on OPK and I am showing no signs of ovulating at all.

What I am worried about, i guess, is the sudden absence in Lots of EWCM from the very moment I started TTC. I used to have it in abundance, now I hardly have any at all.

Is it normal to have two days of EW and then back to creamy, lotiony?

Is the creamy, lotiony not infertile mucus?

Oh, its winding me up immensely.

Am I even ovulating at all?

i think any days of ewcm are positive, you are only fertile over a couple of days so i expect the ewcm to be the same, i don't seem to have much cm at all at any stage, its difficult when you cant physically compare with anything, i.e pictures etc, that would be gross though lol

I have noticed that too. After ttc for a while my cm seems to have disappeared! Maybe you have the same amount but since you are now really focusing on it, it doesn't seem to be as much <?> I don't really like opks. I was curious and used one yesterday after getting a high reading on my CBFM and it was neg. BUT that doesn't really mean anything. I am however, going to test the opk with my CBFM when I get a peak reading!

You could also have a lot of cewcm after bding....I know it is hard to tell what is what after BDing. I never really chart cm after Bding....but that is just me. How long have you been ttc??

this is my fifth month, feels like ages though, what about you?

To be honest, Avistar, I have no idea what is going on, but I know that I used to have TONS more of it before. It used to be vast. And, I mean vast. When I would wipe before, I would have to actually catch it before I did so, there was that much, and it was of a really good consistency, too. Loads of it.

Now? Hardly any. And, for about a day or two and then nothing at all. No positive Ovulation strip, no anything. I seem to get the EW for a bit, then it goes, then it briefly comes back again, but when I am doing the checking I am getting nothing at all.

I am wondering if the wanting to get pregnant has psychologically stopped me from ovulating!!!
