I agree that you shouldn't worry about your age ... I'm 46 in May and ttc#1. Age is just a number, as long as your biological clock is still saying "go", you shouldn't worry about it too much.

As for husbands/partners drinking every night, he needs to sort this out as it will not be condusive to a family. You have to be harsh (apologies if I sound so) and face reality. Not knowing how the situation is as it's difficult to read into posts, if it is really bad, then you have no choice but to imagine him getting up to feed or look after baby in the middle of the night. If he is drunk, then this could be a disaster.

I am so sorry you feel this way and do not mean to say anything hurtful I promise, but it sounds like you could do with a little outside help and advice. For now all I can do is send you a big and wish you the best.


PS: Perhaps I've read too much into your post and it's only a few drinks a night he is having. In which case you will be referring to the alcohol possibly affecting his sperm count. Could be.
