I just think we gotta be more open minded about it and try to BD as much as poss during our cycle. Medically, you can't conceive a week b4 AF is due cos it doesn't give the bean anough time to implant. But otherwise, the days between end of AF and a week before it are the aim! I know it's difficult 4 those with busy lives / weird shifts / low sex drives but if the aim is to conceive, we've gotta try what we can. x

I've only been charting for 2 months and ovulated on CD9 last month and got a HIGH reading on CD6 with my CBFM, so looks like an early ovulation again this month.

Why do most OPKs recommend to start testing 10 days into cycle then? My periods only last 2-3 days so really, they should recommend straight after AF finished. Anyway, if no BFP this month (only symptoms so far - crazy increase in CM, tiredness and headaches but I am the queen of phantom symptoms!) will start using OPKs as soon as my AF finishes. x

I've been thinking about this too and decided to BD every other day after AF was gone. We started yesterday on CD6. If dont get my BFP in the next few months and decide to give OPK's a go, I think I'll test from the day AF leaves.

That is early!

Your friend must be happy especially as she doesn't get that much of a chance od B'd!

When I was quizzing the doctor on a few things she mentioned it is possible to cenceive right at the end of your cycle too, although it's not very often this happens
