I'm Currently Feeling: | Running I haven't done much research on this, but does anyone know how running will affect TTC? My husband thinks I need to quit running, but I need the endorphines to stay happy | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey you might want to take a look at the thread "vigourous excercise causing miscarriage?" which is currently on the next page of this forum. I don't know how to post the link - sorry! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | As long as the sport activities you do don't make you stop have your periods( like big athlete have this kind of problem )you are fine . i asked the same question to my OBGYN last monday and she said i was fine ...trail mil ,bike everything i wanted even when i get pregnant as long as it' is not sport contact like kick boxing ,ski ,snowboarding.... !
i found that going to see my doc for a prenatal consul was very helpful to me .i went there with my husband with so many questions!!!
good luck! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I go to the gym three times a week still, but I don't do any weights or use the rowing machine. But I asked my doctor and he said pretty much everything else is ok and things like running are fine though I may not feel like it when I'm bigger and heavier! lol
If it's not gona harm me I can't see it harming u? Even though I don't know that much about TTC, I would think its very very unlikely.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks for all the info. My friend and I really thought I was preggo since I had so many signs (constipation, implantation bleeding, sore breasts) and then I went for a couple of long runs and then the next week AF came...grr....My husband thinks that running is bad while we are trying and I don't want him thinking that I am not taking this seriously....he has switched to boxers in the effort! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think it's contact sports you need to avoid not necesarily when ttc but when pregnant - that's what i was told last time as i played netball so i was advised not to. But jogging shouldn't affect your chances of ttc at all |

| Just to give you a laugh, the first thing I did when we decided to ttc was look up Jogger pushchairs on E-bay. I saw a lovely one for a bargain price and even considered buying it and stashing it in the attic. It was one of those 'trigger finger' moments with my computer mouse; but luckily I chose to make tea instead. I do make myself laugh sometimes.
Now that was wishful thinking wasn't it. Of course I knew it wouldn't be that easy to conceive, but it just goes to prove I am one of life's optimists.
I could buy some baby wipes and keep them in my car. That might make me feel better. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't think it would do any harm, one of my friends who was huge when she was pregnant, had to go to the docs alot as she had this condition where all her muscles in her body ceased up, it was very painful for.
Anyway the doctoe recommended some excercises to help the muscle seizure and jogging was one of them the only thing is she was just over 7.5 months preganant when he suggested it to her so she never went jogging!! | | | | Status: Offline
