How am I supposed to carry on like this??

Im sorry to moan but I am so fed up!!!!!

I have only been trying for 5 months and in that time have only had 1 really short period and one episode of ovulation!!! Im sick of wondering whats happening and wanting to know when it's possible for me to catch or if i'll even ever get pregnant again!!!!!!!

I know i'm lucky to have 1 daughter and others are in a worse position than me but I just feel so deflated from it all! I must have spent £100 on pregnancy and ovulation tests and I can't temp as it doesn't fit around my daily life!I really hate ttc, im sure i'm not working properly just feel like crying my eyes out! And to make it worse everyone around me has their bfp's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I want is a regular cycle!!!

Sorry again, just needed to get that down and off my chest!

Lots of pma to you all and bfps all round!!!!!!!!!

xxxx

Hey, Im brand new to all this ttc business, so I have no idea what to suggest but I can offer some support if ever you need it. This is my first cycle ttc my first child, and up until now, I never realised how much pressure we women put ourselves under to fall pregnant. I may not be able to give you the best advice, but there are a lot of lovely ladies on this forum who do. Hope you feel better soon xxxx

Hey! I'm also new and also have not been ttc for very long. I agree it's a load of pressure, I've been thoroughly terrible to DH recently. I'm trying to keep positive and not overthink anything too much, but it's easier said then done! I hope you felt better for getting that off your chest!

I'm new as well and I was shocked too see how many women feel the way I do when I joined. The help and support I've had in the three days since I've joined is unbelievable. Down get too downhearted, it WILL happen. I have one daughter and DH and I were trying for 2 and a half years before she was conceived (I have PCOS) and we nearly split up due to the pressure I put on myself - I was convinced he should be with someone else so pushed him away - I was horrible. Now, I'm doing it again! I'm a lucky girl to have my daughter and I'm trying to be positive and not make the mistakes I made last time we were ttc. It is amazing how quickly you become obsessed isn't it?

I hope you feel a little better as time moves on and the more you can talk to some of the girls on here. Sending lots of and PMA!!!

Good luck and keep talking!!! xxx

This is my 3rd cycle TTC and I've been lucky that the last two cycles have been regular, but in the 8 months before it ranged from 28-42 days...it's incredibly frustrating and I totally understand how you feel. My DH has done a complete turnaround on his feelings and has become very supportive lucky for me! I'm sending tons of PMA your way and hope your cycle becomes more regular for you.

You are certainly not alone. I'm on month 4 and completely headwrecked already, it's such a horrible process and I'm doin it to myself, would love to relax about it all but it's so hard when you have daily reminders, Folic acid, temps, pains, imaginary symptoms. Last month I was so devastated when af arrived, I feel like it will never happen or that there is something wrong with me, yet no proof of this. Maybe it's all a test and when we do get our bfps and our little babies, we will really really appreciate how precious they are. X

Like the girls above me said, you're not alone, we're all slowly driving ourselves insane.

I'm on cycle 20 now and still not closer to being pregnant.

I know you said temping doesn't fit your lifestyle, but although they say you have to temp first thing in the morning before rising, another option is to pick a time where you know you are always awake, even if you're working different shift patterns and take your temp then.

It can be a little trickier to see the pattern if you're temping after you're out of bed, but it should still give you valuable information on your cycle because if your temp is up post ovulation it is up all day every day until your period, so you should be able to see that post O termal shift.

You'd probably have to keep notes to make sense of the pattern, but say you test at 7pm every day, you'd need to record in the notes how long you'd been awake, and what your activuty had been in the hour before testing (because obviously if you were at the gym from 1730-1830 your temp would be higher than expected!).

Good luck honey, and if it gets you too much have a read through some of the LTTTC journals, you soon see your blessings

Hi evryone thanks for your comments!Feel better to get it off my chest! I havent tried agnus castus as I want to give it a while to see what my body is doing. I may try temping like that and see what happens, so thanks! I think my main worry isn't even getting a bfp its hoping that im working properly!

I used to have pcos and was told after having my daughter that it has gone, but i'm not so sure! Thanks for your comment 555, I do count my blessing and if me not having another child meant that a childless couple got their bfp instead i'd be happy as I have one beautiful daughter!

All I ask for is a regular cycle lord even a longish one I dont mind..........actually 86 days was a bit long last time lol!

xx
