Ok so I dont officially want to test until friday, and I have a bunch coming from the internet (both OPK and HPT's) to save money seeing as I am constantly POAS... anyways, I have been doing OPK tests daily even though I o'd December 29th. I got a Big Fat Thick Dark line on the 28th and 29th... Then they gradually got lighter...

Ok so today I take one but I grabbed a First Response on accident (still an Opk, not hpt...

and it looked like this



Im like What the heck??? How can it possible be that dark and solid since it has dropped off so low... I tempted and my temp is 99... usually its 98.3 it dropped to 97.9 two days ago but now shot back up...

anyways, obsessive me took a clear blue easy thinking it was just the first response being goofy ( keep in mind I only waited about 20 minutes so I didnt have that much pee built up) but this is what it looked like



I know they say not to use the OPK as a HPT but I also know that OPK pick up HGC as well as LH Serge... I cant wait til friday... Im testing the minute my tests get here

hi there. This is the exact thing that is happening to me at the moment! I am getting weird opk readings that I cannit make head nor tail of and it is driving me crazy!! The only explanationthat I have been given is that it is a long LH surge and therefore giving me more positives. As I am not regular however I do not know when I ovulated and cannot pinpoint exactly. I am going to the docs tomorrow about other things and I will ask her then. Good Luck!!

It's not crazy at all!!! Last year, I knew I was pregnant... I started bawling in line at the grocery store because there was a magazine in the checkout line with that red head from Grey's Anatomy on the cover with her big ole twin bearing pregnant belly hanging out,... choked me up for no reason at all... so I went to the testing aisle and grabbed one and sure enough BFP... I only wish it would have stuck

I don't really feel pregnant per sei... but I am having some unusual symptoms... tmi but my stomach hasnt been right for the past week, running to the bathroom frequently for both #1 and #2, I had an emotional breakdown at the bowling alley, like I was telling the ladies here the other day, regarding bad parenting and it made me cry like a baby...lol, other than that so far no sore or swollen breasts, no morning sickness... so its a toss up...

As soon as my internet cheapies get here, I am going to be peeing on sticks left and right... LOL

PS I o'd on the 28th of December, so I cant imagine LH serge is responsible for the wacky readings... unless I never ovulated then and its taken this long...

I have just finished a load of internet cheapies and I think the jury is still out on them. I dont think the opks I got were very good as you heard from my results!!
One weird thing from your last message jk, is that I am off work today after suffering with bad stomach symptoms through the night #2 (sorry tmi). I will just try and wait it out, but have also been nausreous and dizzy today. Will try a more reputable test if this persists. Good luck when ur tests arrive!!

PS- Has anyone said to you that in ur photo u have posted that u look like Lana from Smallville at that angle? Just a thought. Cheers Candice xx
