So I am new to this place. And I tried to see if anyone else had posted this thread and didn't see it. So if it is already posted sorry for doing a new post.

We are trying to concieve #2. It is my 3 month charting. Last month and the month before I had EWCM for 2 days.

So here we are day 15 of my cycle. I normaly ovulate on day 17 or 18. Sorry if this is too much info but not sure how else to ask.

We used Pre-seed on day 11 to try it out. Later on Day 12 I noticed what I thought could be EWCM. I did the finger test and it streched and far. Then put it in water and it sunk. But then I thought that maybe it was the Pre seed and semen? So in my chart I just put a question mark for cervical fluid.

Nothing on day 13-dry but we Bd (did not use Pre seed)around 6pm

Now last night on day 14 right before bed I noticed it again before bed. I did finger test and it streched not real far but it did. I did water test and some of it floated and some of it sank. So I wasn't sure if it was semen from day before.

Here it is day 15 and in the am after a BM I noticed it again. I did the finger test and it stretched but just barely.....I put it in water and it floated.

So is it EWCM or semen? Can semen stay in your body like that for 2 days?
Has anyone noticed that using Pre seed will leave you the next day with EWCM like stuff? Do you think Pre seed can do that since it is supposed to be just like EWCM?

Thanks for any ideas or anything. I guess what I am going to do is keep charting and looking for EWCM the next few days bc I am supposed to ovulate in the next couple of days according to my TCOYF chart prediction.

I can't really give very good advice about what the mucus could be as to be honest I never had the egg white, stretchy mucus. I just don't think you should read into it too much because for many reasons like dehydration, physical health, sex can mean it's not quite as expected but you can still get pregnant. Even though I never had the fertile mucus everyone looks for it only took me 4 cycles.

I think as long as it's roughly of the consistancy of seamen then the sperm have a very good chance of surviving in it and being able to swim through it.

EWCM is alot more stretchy than semen is. EWCM you should be able to stretch teh full length between your finger and thumb. Semen wont go that far.

Thanks for your responses. When I did stretch it it did go far very far.....maybe 1-2 inches....

But then I thought maybe it was pre-seed leftovers from day before?

So not sure what it was?
