Hi everyone im new here.. my name is Sarah and Im 22..

I was wondering if anyone could help me, i have read a few topics about the cerazette pill but none of them really identify my problem lol.

I've been taking the cerazette for about 5 months, but for the last 2 or 3 i've not been taking it exactly when im meant to, i just keep forgetting.. I was put on it to see how my body would deal with the injection or implant. Well this month I have taken a whole 4 pills out of my pack, I started taking them on the 22nd December and took it for 4 days then forgot for the rest of the time and then when i did remember a few days down the line, wasnt sure what to do (dippy i know!).. My periods have been normal throughout taking this pill, i have had no changes what so ever.. but what i am wondering is, could i be pregnant now? I have been being sick and getting cramps but i have also got a fluy bug too.. my work mates keep telling me im pregnant and i just brushed it off as being ill but now they are really making me wonder lol!

If i am pregnant i wouldnt be devastated as me and my partner have been together since i was 16 and we live together and both kind of want it, but its just eating away at me now..

If anyone could give me some advice I would really appreciate it.

It is very possible yes, have you taken a test to see what it says?

hi there sarah, you could indeed be pregnant, the thing about the mini pill is that you really are meant to take it at the same time each day. It is a progesterine only pill and is less effective that the combined pill and therefire easier to fall pregnant with. I would take a test just to be sure. Let us know!!! Candice xx

hi sarah, as above the mini pill needs to be taken at the same time.
anyway, i'd take a test. with any pill forgettin or illness can effect protection.

I havent taken a test yet.

I know it sounds silly but how early can you take a pregnancy test and it still be affective.

I got a positive a full week earlier than I should have been able to, so it is possible. That said, most say that they are effective up to 4 days before a missed period.
