Tesco pregnancy tests - evaporation lines?

Does anyone have any experience with Tesco pregnancy tests (I think they are made by a company called Surescreen). I did a test this morning (one day before period due) and it says 'read result in 3 mins'. Result area was pretty blank. Put it on the side and glanced again (after about 10 mins) and there was a faint pink line. Is this just an evaporation line? Has anyone else seen these with the Tesco tests?

Thank you (going a bit crazy.. may have to go and buy different brand!).

How did it work out for you? Were you pregnant? I have just had exactly the same thing and am dying to know if I am or not.

Tescos are terrible for evaps i had one not so long ago and it was very pink and believable the only thing that made me realise it was an evap was another test the next morning!! fxd for you tho x

Yep. AWFUL evaps on Tesco tests.

I got a positive result on a Tesco hpt last monday (I tested the day before af was due). Nice bright pink lines,if you want to have a nosey I've just posted the piccie in the bfp gallery x

Arrggghhhh

I just posted a thread about poss evap lines on 3 tests, 2 of them tescos, the 3rd being First response. Every test the line has been slightly pinker but not come up within specified time. WTF is going on ?!?!?!?

terrible for evaps (for me, anyway). the first time i took one i thought i was pregnant and was heartbroken when i discovered it was an evap

they give me a lot of invalid results too...maybe its just me?? i dont think im taking them incorrectly..baby dust for you!!
