what is going on?

wondered if anyone can give me advice?
in august i thought i was pregnant, but tested negative and got my period.
but i continued to get symptoms like nausea, food cravings, sore breasts, weight gain (similar to my first pregnancy). but i dismissed it as i couldn't be pregnant cos of the periods and test results. but yesterday when i was washing up i started leaking milk? i am really confused and freaking out, i feel like my body is playing tricks on me...has anyone else lactated when not pregnant...

some people do get a period when they are pregnant that is so strange?
have u had any kids before?

I would go to your doctor just to make certain that you are or not preg. I have heard of women lactating when they are not preg due to hormones and if they have been preg before. There are also other women who have their period while being preg too. I think seeing the doc is your best bet

thanks i plan to go tomorrow...but i am just worried that he will think i am imagining things...also would lactating now stop me getting pregnant cos my hormones are obviously everywhere...

sorry. Try not to worry about it. He/she shouldn't make you feel silly!!! That what docs are there for, to answer your questions and be there for your concerns!! Try to keep relaxed as possible.

these are the same lines i was thinking along thats why i asked if you had a child, it may just be a crazy hormone thing but at least if you go u can have it sorted out - hope its a bfp
