Last month AF arrived 4 days later than she would have normally arrived. All my life I have been on a 28 day cycle except for last month I had a 32 day cycle with a possible M/C.

I felt like I ovulated at the same time I normally would have on a 28 day cycle based on CM and OV pains. Do you think I should start counting from the day I started bleeding or the day I was normally supposed to start AF which was 4 days prior? My body seems so normal I'm just trying to figure out when I should test again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If its on my normal 28 based on when I was supposed to start means I will be tested on Thursday.

If its based on the first day I started bleeding I will test next Sunday.

I would test based on your average cycle. Sometimes women have late periods here or there, but it sounds like you are pretty regular most of the time. Basically I would just test when/if AF is late again and if you have any more preg symptoms. After ttc for some time now, I don't really trust testing early, but that is just me Then again, I have never had a BFP either. Best of luck!

I think I will test once if I don't get AF on Thursday which would be my normal cycle. If I get a negative then I will test on Sunday. Last month I seriously spent over $100 dollars on preg test so this month I only have 3 and I'm not buying any more this round.

No problem I really hope that you get a BFP this month!!! I know, I have spent so much on hpts!!! I only have two right now, so I am going to really restrain myself early Feb (well see how long this mentality lasts hehe). Keep us all updated!

My cycle has been playing silly buggers since TTC. I'm usually spot on but first month, AF came 4 days early, the next month, it came 4 days late! Really annoying, it's like mother nature says 'hey, hope you don't mind, gonna screw with your head'. So this month, I basically counted from the day my period started and start BDing from day 10 to 20ish either way. x

Its so unfair that when you are really ttc that AF comes late. Maybe our minds our playing tricks with us. I really don't want to waste a test so I think I will wait until Sunday. I could go get a test from the dollar tree. They have $1.00 tests. Don't know how good they are though.
