How is your partner reacting to TTC??

Hi everyone! I was just wondering how everyone's partners were acting about the whole TTC thing? My hubby is being very cool about it all. He is very supportive and I know he is as excited as I am about having a baby but he gets all funny when I want to discuss my 'possible symptoms'! I think he thinks I'm crazy and wants me to just chill out about it all. He doesn't like to wonder about things - he is very 'when it happens, it happens'! But I just can't be like that.

I wanted to be relaxed about it, since there isn't really anything you can do other than BD and wait and see... but I just can't get it out of my head. I'm fine before ovulation... I was even fine last time when I got my AF. I just thought 'oh well, at least I know now and can get on with my life' but the 2WW is just unbearable!

That's why I've joined this forum, so that I can chat about it with people who understand and are just as mad as me!

ditto, mines exactly the same, so i dont really talk to him about symptoms etc,, id prefer to come on here!!
He said he will be excited when it happens, he doesnt get excited about the possible chance of it being that month, basically he wont believe it till he see's it!

Hey Louise

My hubby is exactly the same they don't like to talk about the symptons too much probably because they want it as much as we do but try and keep us grounded too! I know when I came on last month he was really good and has the same attitute as yours that it will happen when it happens and not to worry too much about it!

At first he didn't want to try anything other than regular bding when we felt the urge -"whatever happens, happens" but once we did that for a couple years and realized it wasn't so easy to get pg I started charting. He kind of ignores my obsessive comments and stays relaxed. I usually come on here to vent so he won't have to listen to me.
