What vitamins for men and women ttc?

Just wondered if anyone takes vitamin/mineral supplements while they are trying to conceive?

I've got Sanatagen Pro natal supplements which is Folic acid and Omega 3. My husband is not taking any at the moment, but we are unsure what he should be taking so any advice would be great, also if you would reccomend any others I should be taking.

Sorry this has probably been done before, but I wasn't able to see a thread on it....you can tell I'm new

There are MANY different pre natal vits that you can go for. I've gone for the same as I did 13 yrs ago with my first which is simple folic acid and a healthy vegetarian diet (not saying you should turn veggie!).

OMG! my husband would leave me before turning veggie!!!!
I've just sat opposite him (we always go out for dinner on weds as my daughter says at my Mum's) as he tucked away an ENORMOUS fillet steak, rare!! I dont mind as I'm not an consciencious veggie - I dont have problem with people eating animals so long as they are reared ethically - I just dont believe that meat is very good for you.

My DH and I are taking Sanatogen Pro Natal Multivitamins.

They come in a pack - one bottle for men, one for women. They contain all the recommended vitamins that each of us need. Quite expensive though - £12 for a month's worth.

I started taking a multivitamin and got horrid migraines so I stopped taking anything. I just eat as healthy as possible. DH is taking a multivitamin on and off.
