Can Qualitive Blood Test be wrong?

Hello Everyone,

I went to the urgent Care Monday, January 7 to get a blood test for pregnancy. The results were negative. My last period was December 6th; I expected my period 30 days later on January 5th. Of course today has been 34 days without a period. I was wondering has anyone had any experience with the Blood test and could it have been too soon? I did the ovalation calendar and it said My fertile days would have ranged between Dec 19-28. Thanks For all you time and help!!!!

hmm, I honestly haven't heard of many incorrect blood tests sweetie, but thats not to say it doesn't happen.
Perhaps test with a HPT in a few more days if AF hasn't arrived.

Best of luck

only if implantation hasn't occurred... if you got a blood test prior to 12dpo, then it could be that the HCG was too low... most labs dont call it a + blood until it is over a 5ish... still hope, but after about 15dpo i'd say blood is gospel?

I agree with PP. If the isn't here in another week and you're pretty regular, I'd say get another test done.
