so it's like 5 days late from friday or 3 days if you were expecting af on sunday... you know it's pretty good odd i think..did you ever have cycle longer that 28 days?

Nope. I came off the pill in July, and since then my cycles have been between 25-28 days (usually averaging at about 26 days).

But maybe the pill is completely out my system now, and my cycles are gonna start getting longer??! I really hope not though, because I'm already impatient having to wait 28 days!!

I really need to stop look at Google - I'm just stressing myself out now, lol!! I keep reading stories of women who didn't get a positive test result until they were over 2 weeks late. Or women who just 'skipped' a period. I've read that it could be a sign of PCOS. Or a symptom of an ectopic pregnancy (because I'm getting crampy 'period-type' pains).

I'm driving myself nuts. Which is stupid, because if I keep stressing out, my period will NEVER turn up!!

well my OBGYN said to me that if i was late for a week i need to test again and if they still hasn't show up to call them for a blood test.
i think it's true some woman to get the BFP on a urine test.
do you feel any of you af sympthons at all like the brownish disgusting CM discharge before af come?
what is your instinct tell you? (last month deep down i new Af was on her way)

by the way i think you have being average 26 days cycle you will still be like that you came off the pill almost 7 month ago!

I haven't had ANY brown discharge/CM. I usually do the day before my period.

When I usually get period pains, my period starts within the hour. I've had pains since the weekend.

My instinct? To be honest, I don't know. Everytime I think that I might be pregnant, I immediately try to dismiss it, because I don't want to be disappointed. But whenever I try to be negative, I think,

'Well, you could be - your period is late, and it's never been late before..........Oh, don't be stupid, it's just late because you're stressing yourself out about it..............Ooooh, but I don't really feel stressed, so that can't be right...........Well, it would be sub-conscious you idiot..................But Mum said she had period-like pains when she was pregnant, so maybe the same thing is happening to me...........Don't be ridiculous - don't get your hopes up because you're going to feel so stupid when AF arrives tomorrow..............Maybe I should just take one more test...........Whats the point, it'll be negative!.............It might not be; maybe it'll be different this time..........See, I told you it would be negative!'

This is the kind of CRAZY conversation I have with myself!!

And reading all of this conflicting information on the net isn't helping, lol. So I know that I should just stop doing it, but because I want to be pregnant so much, I can't stop myself from doing it.

i know it's frustrating.. give yourself a break we are all nuts here so the most you are 5 days late like we said or 3 .Give yourself a date line what about Sunday ? when you test you do the early preg test right ?the kind who is suppose to give you a answer 5 days before af due?
So Sunday should be good for you either way. The test should be more accurate by than and if you still don't have AF and have a BFN than you call your doctor MY Af due on the 15 th but i promess myself and my husband i won't do the test 1 day before Af is due . i think because we have short cycle (i have 26 also ) our pg hormone have really little time to build up in our bodies that why the 5 days early test don't work as well on us!!! i like to think that

Like I said earlier, I've ordered DH to hide all the remaining pregnancy tests from me, so I'm gonna listen to your advice, and tell him not to give them back to me until Sunday. It'll be hard, but I'll be strong.
