I think we've missed our chance this month :-(

Hi,

I took my temp this morning and when I put it in fertilityfriend.com it detected my ovulation 3 days ago!!!! Every month for 4 months I have ovulated on exactly day 21 of my cycle and now I'm 3dpo which would mean I ovulated on day 17 - 4 days early!!! What the hell?

And would you believe we BD like every day except for the 3-4 most important ones for us! We've been BD like crazy past 2 days thinking I wasn't Ov til Wednesday!!!! I feel like we've wasted a month! Oh well.

Sorry just felt like I needed to get that off my chest! x x

I dont actually believe in fertility friend.. but hey, this is my opinion!
I dont use it, coz I dont temp, I just know my body and know when my fertile days are in. I am thankful that I can actually know when I am without using that software.

Good luck sweetie!

Aww hun, you havent wasted a month!

You never know what might have happened, or could still happen. Bodies are crazy wierd things you know... they work in strange ways, and not always as we expect. Wait and see eh.

I agree with pp. I just adjusted my temps (waking up early because of work) on FF and it just moved my O date by a day...you never know. It can still happen (as long as you've BD'ed - if you haven't no such luck then!) A few days off and it can still happen.

Hope that helps...brain a little dead don't know if it came across right...basically, you may still have a shot (remember you can O more than once, and you may have O'ed differently than FF shows by a day or two).

Thanks for the quick and helpful responses. I didn't know you could ovulate more than once!

I guess this will stop me being so technical about it all. lol. We BD on all the days surrounding the fertile time so if O is a day or two out on there then I guess we still got a chance to you all ladies and thanks again you are the best! x x

yep, that's my kitty this time. Her name's Rena, or Bean Bean, or Sarina (we don't usually call her that though it's her "proper" name - Rena or Bean Bean will get her to come to you.) The one I'd had looked a lot like DH's, and at some point I'll change it up again. I have been going a little nuts with the new camera and because I don't have kids yet the kitties get a lot of pics taken! She wasn't too happy about the bright flash going off in her eyes, but she's a very cute kitty, if I do say so myself!
I'd love to see a pic of your kitty!

And yes, you can O more than once a month, it's unusual though. (it's how people have fraternal twins) I still say you have a chance, even if you missed a couple of days of . can live for a few days anyway, and who really knows how long your eggie lives for - say 6-24 hours.

Sorry for size of pics, Here's Bonnie...........

And here's Clydie......

They have a lot more tabby and not so much white as yours but Clyde's got a bright white tummy! It's the tabby patch over the left eye that caught my eye! Lol. I love the name Bean Bean so cute. Thanks for all the advice hun how is it going for you this month? x x

Ahhh...they are so cute! They cuddle up like our kitties!
Bean Bean just sort of evolved...We got her from the humane society and her name was Sarina. Then we shortened that to Rena. Then I think it was Rena Bean, My Beanie Baby, then Bean Bean just sort of appeared out of the air...and it's stuck. I can usually get her to come to me just by calling her name and bending down a little...then she comes trotting over for pets. (and it's a real trot too! She looks so funny when she's doing it!)

I'm doing ok. Sunday still seems so far away. I just wish I wasn't having to get up so early lately for my job...if I adjust my temps they are higher than they've ever been! Other than that, not much. I have recorded my "symptoms" in my journal it's hard to read anything into them as I've had them all before over the past 3 cycles...this is just driving me mad! I just hope my temps stay up. I really hope this is it. But if not, then I'll have to try again next month. it really hasn't been that long, so it's ok.

The one thing that's pissing me off is that my neck and back are still sore! It's making it hard to shoulder check when driving my neck's so stiff and sore.

Anyway, enough moaning from me, how are you doing this time around?

Aww thanks. I love it when cats names turn completely random. My cats are called bonnie and clyde but that evolves into bon-bon and clydie-clops sometimes...weird. Anyway, ff.com says that I haven't ovulated this month now bcoz my temp dropped below coverline today so I have no idea what the hell is going on. If I haven't then there's something wrong with me! Grrr I hate this. Hope its your BFP month honey x x
