Hi Jo,

If you are due to ovulate around next Mondyish it could be far too early to get a line. Some women also just get faint lines for many days and then suddenly the dark line surge. Some women get increasingly dark lines until it is as dark (or darker) than the test line. In fact, some women don't ever get a line as dark as the test line.

Are you using cheapies?

Thanks Poppy, thats just put my mind at ease too. I had a very faint line on cd18 then nothing on cd19 or 20, but tested again this evening (still cd20) and had a faint positive. Should I be testing the same time each day?

Sorry Jo27 for butting in on your post.

^Thats good news, because I've been getting positive OPKs well past my ovulation, which has been a little exciting (and confusing because poor DH has had to BD on command because I keep thinking I'm ovulating!!)

Jo, I don't get a lot of EWCM, which throws me off, because when I think I'm getting it, I'm not sure if thats correct or not....But if you're starting to get faint lines I'd keep testing to see what happens. I've always had a faint line, no matter what time in my cycle I test, I think I have that LH hormone stronger than normal...But I just wanted to wish you the best of luck.

Also, I test after lunch too, and wait at least 4 hours before going to the bathroom, and also limit liquids before testing.

All the best!
