I'm Currently Feeling: | I have told one of my best friends and that is it....besides my DH of course
Added pressure and questions is exactly why I haven't revealed our secret. It is tough, but hopefully we will have exciting news in the near future. Good luck to you all! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have told close friends and family, and a select few coworkers (that also fall into the "friend" category.) I will never forgot a comment my husband made to my cousin right after we got married 4 years ago... She wanted to know when we would have a baby, and he said "Right now we are having fun practicing, as soon as we have it perfected, you will be the first to know" It still puts a smile on my face when I think of it. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I haven't really told anyone besides all you lovely ladies on here....I don't like to hear it constantly as it is, so I KNOW that if everyone knew then I would hear it more than I would like....I feel like it is a really personal thing...I don't even really like to talk to my DH about it much since he just thinks that we should just expect it and be happy whenever it happens and not plan it out...well...just doing that for over a year didn't really work out too well, so I am taking more control as much as I can now. |

I gave up trying to be relaxed about it ages ago!! | I feel the same way about talking to my mom about it. It's really hard not to tell her but then again she will think I'm crazy. I also want to know her experiences TTC, she had 2 daughters(me and my younger sister) not much older than me. Right now she just assumes I'm using protection. When I told her my periods are irregular she said"shouldn't they be regular on the pill" and I said "I'm not on the pill" she went ballistic and said "you're going to get pregnant!" I'm thinking that's the point, but I figure it's best just to tell her when I am pregnant. I know she'll be happy for me if I'm happy(I hope). |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've only told one person - and that was in anger. One of my best friends was constantly badgering me to 'make her an aunty'. One day (I must have had PMS) cos I told her to drop it in no uncertain terms, its difficult enough trying month after month without her rubbing it in. She hasn't mentioned it since.....
I think my mum knows, I haven't explicitly told her but I've dropped hints.
And a medium told me in October 07 I'd have a baby within a year - which means this should be my month! Get this though, I've only been back in touch with my step sister for about four months through bebo and she and her mum saw a psychic at christmas - her mum was told if I'm not pregnant I soon will be. While I'm really chuffed about what she was told I haven't seen my dad in four years and was hoping not to have to tell him if I got pg! Now it looks like he knows before me!!! Fingers crossed this is my month! |

| well, apart from DH and all of you, my sister kinda knows and, as I can't keep anything from my mum, my mum knows. I thought my mum would get all excited and I'd feel pressured to get my BFP. In fact, it was totally the opposite. She explained that although she got her BFP with my sister very quickly, it took her over a year to have my brother and me (we're twins). She also said that I have about 10 years left to try (I'm 30 in 1 month), so not to worry. She was incredibly reassuring, which was a really nice surprise. Now my mum is an expert in TTC too, and sends me articles and info that she thinks may be useful. I'm really pleased I told her. | | | | Status: Offline
