Well to be honest, hubby was always a bit "uneducated" when it came to TTC and he figured that people fall pregnant whenever you have unprotected sex (he NEVER had unprotected sex w/ me until we started TTC...thats 5 years after we got together). After trying to tell him for almost a year that the chances are not 100% but more like 25% we finally started to TTC and after 3 months and no baby yet, i think he's finally convinced.

do't think it's really 'advice' but it still is silly to think you can get prego that easily!

And believe it or not it was an elderly lady with grown kids of her own who told me. She came straight out and asked me "Does your husband where shoes when you try to conceive"
I think I just gave her a baffled "Are you serious" look and she started nodding and replied "No, really....it's true"

I was told if dh wore boots you'd conceive a boy,but my husband wears spurs on his for mounting bulls and horses, I weighed the odds and I think its like I'd get some serious cuts than anything else.

Can't say I've really had any yet...Someone I used to work with (and still keep in touch) says that the fun is in the trying, but I happen to believe that, so I can't call that silly...

The silliest thing I was told, was today actually at work. (And this has come from a nurse who has had 4 kids) Dring cough medicine when it id your O time. The kind of cough medicine that thins mucus, because it also thins CM (supposedly). Her sister was told this by a fertility doctor. She did it and went on to have 4 kids herself after 2 m/c. Sounds silly, I dunno?
