can a kidney infection delay your AF or affect HPT result

Hi there
i am 1 day late on AF and currently have a kidney infection, could this delay my AF starting or affect a HPT result x

It wont affect your HPT result but it could delay your AF.

Urine/kidney infections can cause a false positive on a HPT.

Sorry but i disagree, a HPT only looks for HCG the pregnancy hormone, which is only produced if you are pregnant, its not produced from a UTI/kidney infection.

Strange enough, I have some sort of infection ( still waiting for the results to confirm what exactly) and my cycle was 2 days late... Who knows what causes what!!!!! I for sure don't feel like I know anything anymore.....

hi there
sorry no earlier update, internet been playing up !
well af came at 42 days !! and only lasted 2 days and was very very light

no im mid cycle ish again and i feel like im going to pop
my stomach is huge and i look about 5 months preg ha ha, anyone else have this mid cycle, my stomach is solid and starts very low down x
maybe tmi, but have taken laxatives and was a little better but not really helped xx
