As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. I'm Currently Feeling: | New and Confused! Hello,
I'm 29 and I've been lingering around this Website for the past month and found it to be very helpful in TTC. I've learned so much about TTC than I ever thought I could. Just wanted to say HI!
We have only recently began TTC and have had an interesting time so far.
I received a BFP on 12/21 but a couple of days later I was bleeding quite a bit and went to the hospital and did a blood test and say I was negative so I was really confused. I took several tests leading up on 12/21 and they all had a faint line and the test on took on 12/21 was a little bit darker but still faint. I took a test after the hospital and it was negative. What could have happened? Was I ever pregnant?
Last week I had a strange period where it was new and old blood but finally finished 5 days later. When will I go back to normal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I would go and see a GP and just make sure it wasn't a MC - as you may need an examination - I wouldn't rely on what a hospital doctor tells you.
Best of luck on your road to TTC - everyone here is full of helpful ideas and advice |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thank you!
I have an appointment for a physical on Monday. I was confused because why would I get multiple faint positive lines on an HPT and he tell me I'm not pregnant or was never pregnant. The nurse told me if it was a miscarriage I would have a really bad period in which is was bad compared to any other time with a mix of old and new blood (sorry TMI). | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Welcome Hiya. Welcome to baby and bump!
It sounds to me that you may have had a m/c.
I had a friend once who got a bfp then started bleeding a few days later.
she want to the docs who did another pg test only to find out that it was a bfn!. Doc said that it probably was a m/c that she had . I dont mean to scare you by saying this but it does sound like a m/c. If i was you i would make another appointment with the doc to get checked over. Good luck hun! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thank you PINKDIAMOND, I'm actually handling this whole experience pretty well I am more confused about it than anything. I want everything to go back to normal and hoping that we can keep trying.
If this was a m/c how soon can we try again? | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think its really up to when you feel emotionally ready to try again. Some doctors may tell you to wait a few months. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | talk about everything with you GP. They should be able to help explain things (if they are good anyway). Unfortunately, it does sound like an early m/c since you had a bfp and then didn't anymore with bleeding. I have read that it happens to 25% of women, and that is why sensitive tests are a blessing and a curse as a lot of women have m/c and not even know it. Whatever happens, I wish you nothing but the best |
