False Positive :(

hey all! my 1st thread! lol

well here goes , weve been ttc for about 5 months now, and about 3/4 months ago i got a false positive! there i was POAS addict as usual took a test before i was due 2 days before AF(assuming by reading here that means period) and sure enough '1-2 weeks' appeared! i was over the moon, talk about ur overdrive , told OH he was so excited, went and got folic acid and everything!! ...
then when OH came honme he wanted to see what it looked like when it wasnt in my phone .. then 'not pregnant' appeared.

convinced myself and OH that it was because i needed another few days! must have spent about 40 pound on tests after that before i had to admit defeat ...

ithink the moral of the story is do two test always do two tests!

not acctually sure why i am writing all this lol as it was ages ago but ... feels good!

baby dust to u! and thanks!

thats why i bought them too ! was soo bad at the time i was thinking all sorts and spendong way to much . i should have waited for my AF to be late i think.

trust no pregnany test if ur testing early i say!

after reading up there are many reasons why u could get a false positive , more common than we think . its just so sole destroying though! grrr lol

I am so sorry that happened to you, it must have been gut wrenching. I know that sometimes lines appear on tests when you arent preggers but had no idea you could get a false pos on digis too.
