Hi everyone!!!! Just wanted to ask about taking antibiotics and being preg or taking them while trying to conceive. I know they effect bcps. Just curious. I have to take them since I woke up last night with pain on the lower right side of my molar, my gums around the tooth were throbbing. Went to the dentist and he said I have a gum infection I am waiting to test still...I am a WHOLE week late today....

There are some meds that mess around with that.. not sure what they are. What are you taking?

Telling you right now.. amoxicillin almost always causes yeast infections in women. Eat lots of yogurt, because the bacteria REALLY helps... plus, as an added bonus.. you don't have to chew it so it won't hurt your mouth!

I talked to my best friends cousin, who is a midwife and she said that it won't affect anything.. I also found this website if you want to take a look and see for yourself

I've been on antibiotics my whole pregnancy, the first tri i was on amoxicillin. It's fine.
