I'm Currently Feeling: | Where to start? Need some advice Hi I was just wondering if anyone could help? We've now ditched the condoms and are TTC! Im very excited, but i think i need to look up some things to help us concieve. I dont really know much about when im most likely to get pregnant, if im supposed to be taking any suppliments (folic acid etc) and should we be having sex most days or do you have a day break in between?
Any info would be appreciated, as im not sure where to look (on this site, or elsewhere)....sorry to sound like a stupid/thick person! I just need a bit of guidance!
Thank you!

I'm Currently Feeling: | dont be silly, this forum is for asking any question!!
ok where to start;
i think its best once AF goes to try and BD every 2nd night up until ovulation. ovulation occurs once a month and approx 12-14days BEFORE your next period so if you have a 28day cycle you will ovulate between days 12-16 (stop me if im wrong anyone)
it'l do no harm to BD every night on the run up to ovulation and around that time as this is when you are most fertile!
I use OPK's to help pinpoint when i am going to ovulate, it detects the LH surge which happens just before you ovulate so you know when to BD
i take pregnacare which has all the vitamins needed for TTC and through a pregnancy.
hope this helps a little bit, any more questions feel free to ask | | | | Status: Offline

I'll have to take a look in my diary later, to check when im due on (AF?), im sure im coming up to ovulation around now.

I'm Currently Feeling: | The first thing I am doing is working out my cycle length. We also have been doing the deed on the days 10,12,13,15,16 in case I have a 28 day cycle.
I'm new too - just been lurking up to now! The info on here will help you no end! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Is difficult at first. You look around, you see millions of people and think, these were all pregnancies, yet when it comes to actually getting pregnant yourself it does not seem so easy.
This is my first month too. I think I messed up with O this month. I started BD when the eggwhite was there but it was gone after two days. So I think I might have missed a couple of days out. Then I got what I think was ovulation pain so we did it again that night. Its just, the eggwhite had stopped so I assumed I was no longer fertile.
Finding it really difficult to read the signs.
Good luck. | | | | Status: Offline
