question about going to see the GYN right after ovulation?

Heys guys!
i have a GYN appointment on January the 7th . i am planning on bd from the 31 of December to the 6 th every other day since i am suppose to ovulate around the second . i heard you are not suppose to have any sex if you going to see your GYN 72 hours prior you see your doc . Is that true?

mmmmmmm I KNOW that I have gone to the obgyn the day after sex...and they never said anything. I know some will definitely not see you if you are on your period...but I knew one that would...weird....I would call like Arcanegirl mentioned, just to be certain.
