Totally missed the boat...

feel gutted today, ovulation day was yesterday and cos of work we we're both knackered last night and didn't have any energy to BD, DH said i was putting "pressure" on on him, said we'd BD this morning but woke up late and DH had to go collect his daughter, as he has her on a Saturday( don't know if that makes me feel worse aswell). We BD'ed on day 21, a day before ov and we can try tonight but i feel like we've missed the boat when we havn't BD'ed on ov day. Sorry to moan...

If you bd'ed a day before O there is still a chance hun!

How do you know you have already O'ed? OPK's or just your normal body signs around O?

I'm sorry you missed out on the prime day, but there is still a good chance the sperm got that eggie

If you got a BD in the day before then you still have a very good chance.
Alot of people think theyve missed the big day but still get pg.

Thanks Arcanegirl, fingers crossed, we'll BD tonight aswell. We're still in our every other day pattern i just feel gutted that we didn't BD on what i think was my ovulation day as that was the plan.

DonŽt worry about it too much - easier said than done I know - it aint over til the fat lady screams!!!

We were BDŽing every other day just before OV etc and then fell out of the routine, cos of early shifts at work and we had an argument and didnŽt talk to each other!!!!, so BDŽing was out of the question!!! I thought that was that for that month, but still fell pregnant. You still have a good chance.

That has inspired me some what. Think i'm just feeling miserable today about ttc and my long cycles. Feels like when we don't BD on the right day its so long for another go. Hope you have a H and H 9 months xx
