Cervical Errosion

hello

I was just wondering if there is anyone else in here that has had cervial errosion and if anyone has conceived after having it.

Im trying for my first baby and in Feb this year I went to see my GP about irregular bleeds and bleeding between periods. I was worried about cervical cancer after the Jade Goody thing.

I was sent to see a gynie and she confirmed I have whats known as cervical errosion where the cells of the cervix become inflamed and bleed on contact and stuff. She froze my cervix while i was there and booked me in for a check up in a few months.

Since then all was good, the mid cycle bleeding stopped but my cycle is still long (usually 2-3 weeks late)

Just a couple of days ago my mid month bleeding started again
Im going back to see the Gynie today and hoping that all is ok.

Im just so worried that this is going to cause problems whilst ttc.

Can anyone help please It would be great having someone to talk to who knows about this.

Ive had it too - I was told most women have it and dont know theyve got it.
No one at any point mentioned that there was a risk to my fertility. I had the cells frozen off and ive never been bothered by it since. xXx

Thanks girls, it is good to know it is common and does not really cause problems.
I went back to see the gynie today and she confirmed that the freezing had not been a complete success which is why Im bleeding again but it is nothing to worry about.
She has said the next step will be to burn it but she wont do that while Im TTC

So I feel a lot happier about things now and a bit more relaxed so fingers crossed for that

Thank you again xx

I have and it and only got diagnosed recently after painful sex. Didnt want anything done about it as I am ttc and only got it since having my daughter. Not suprised after pushing babies out of us that most of us do get it.

Dont think it causes any problmes ttc so good luck, but ask your g.p if your worried!
