Anovulatory again

I was (not so) patiently waiting to ovulate and bang, witch got me started spotting yesterday afternoon.
So that means a 38 day cycle with no ovulation.
It means that I have been temping for 3 cycles and of those 2 have been anovulatory, the other I did ovulate but not until day 33.
I am starting to think I might have PCOS??

Any words of wisdom or reassurance??

how long you been trying honey? I would go and ask for a scan. I had a scan to confirm PCOS even when I wasn't ttc-ing.

sorry to hear that Jen, what a nightmare. I would definately see the doc with your info and see if they will whizz you through for a scan or tests?
Try not to worry too much, we all skip ovulation now and then you may find that next month is normal again.
Hugs xx

I would definitely make an appointment with a doctor armed with your temp charts, so they can start trying to figure out what's going on.

I have PCOS...

The Scan Assistant has told me that I have PCO on my right ovary...
So if I O from my right side then the egg may be defected or may be perfect, you can never tell and its not impossible for it to be ok...but then she went on to say my Little girl (now 4 yrs old), was probably a product of an egg coming down from the left hand side, my good side...

So what I am trying to say is...its not that you won't ovulate when u have PCOS, as you do ov....from what the scan woman said, its the quality and timing of the egg thats the prob...

So you may not have PCOS...well i hope not! You just may need a bit of intervention??? Maybe progesterone injections or something???
Go to see your Doc and get referred hun!!

Yeah Id see your GP too. The tests I had for PCOS were just blood tests and a tansvaginal scan, both were fine and nothing to worry about. Im trying to find out about this too as Im in the process of being diagnosed with PCOS - just having a nosey. How do you find out if you're ovulating or not?
