Maybe Baby Scope

Have anyone used this? I have been using it for about a year now. It is pretty accurate unless you forget to read, I find after the suggested period you can get a "fern" result, even if there are no ferns! I'd have a fern result up to a week before O is due because I've forgotten to read results..

Just interested to hear if anyone else has used this ovulation predictor?

Maybe Baby Scope Website

Taken from their website:

About MAYBE BABY™

Sometimes even perfectly fertile couples have difficulty conceiving. Many healthy couples take at least a year to fall pregnant because there’s only a small window of opportunity in which you can conceive each month. That's why it's really important to know when this fertile period is.

MAYBE BABY™ is a mini microscope that helps you identify the fertile period in which you can fall pregnant. It works as the increased oestrogen levels which occur in the period around ovulation can be identified by examining dried saliva.

As the saliva dries the hormone causes a fern-leaf pattern to develop and this pattern can be seen through the MAYBE BABY™ microscope.

So, MAYBE BABY™ helps you predict when you are most likely to conceive. No inconvenient, messy urine testing. No complicated daily temperature charts. No visits to the doctor. This simple saliva test helps pinpoint when you are ovulating.

And because MAYBE BABY™ is re-usable month after month, it’s a cost-effective alternative to single-use fertility predictors, such as urine tests.

That aside, I'm not feeling like it's too reliable. It is contradicting the OPK's (then again, it could be those that are scewing up!)

I purchased this a couple of months ago and have never seen a fern result, even though my temps are saying i am ovulating, however i did only just come of 10+ years of BCP in January and it did say to not use it until you have been off them for a couple of months, but will be interesting to see if i start geting some ferns soon. I wish you all the best for a BFP soon!
