Hi all, I have some general questions about my cycles. We've been TTC for a few months now but nothing yet...

I guess I am just a little let down and looking for some reassurance that I'm charting accurately because I was impatient last night and tested myself eventhough AF isn't due until Dec 25 or 26. Of course it was negative...

Last month (november 2007) I had a longer period. It started with spotting for 2 days, then into full blown AF for 7 full days, then another day of light spotting. GEEZE!!!!! (normally AF is 5 days) I also had a lot of clotting, but one day in particular was extremely clotty. I don't think it was a MC though because I had previously tested in November and it was negative.

Anyway, I started AF on November 13
I started to feel like I was ovulating and EWCM on December 6
Does that sound right?
We did the babydance on: 12/3 and 12/6 and also 12/13 (though probably too late, but did it just because we wanted to)
I expect AF on Dec 25 or 26

Based on that should I test again or is my negative probably correct? If I should test again, when??? I figured I would test again this week if AF doesn't show up by Friday 12/28

Sorry if I am being a pain, but I was really hoping that this would be my month. UGH!

It may have been a little early, I'd test again after Christmas. I think the 28th would be a good choice. It's always a better reading after AF is due. Best of luck!

March 2006 - 3/25 AF arrived - lasted 5 days (on BCP)
April 2006 - 4/22 AF arrived - lasted 5 days (on BCP)
May 2006 - 5/20 AF arrived - lasted 5 days (on BCP)
June 2006 - 6/17 AF arrived - lasted 5 days (WENT OFF BCP)
July 2006 - No AF
August 2006 - 8/18 AF arrived - lasted 4 days
September 2006 - No AF
October 2006 - No AF
November 2006 - 11/7 AF arrived - lasted 5 days
December 2006 - 12/16 AF arrived - lasted 4 days
January 2007 - No AF
February 2007 - 2/14 AF arrived - lasted 4 days
March 2007 - 3/27 AF arrived - lasted 4 days
April 2007 - 4/30 AF arrived - lasted 4 days
May 2007 - period from April went into May 4/30 - 5/3
June 2007 - 6/18 AF arrived - lasted 5 days (ONE YEAR SINCE OFF BCP)
July 2007 - No AF (I was also sick due to thyroid problems in July...)
August 2007 - 8/13 AF arrived - lasted 4 days
September 2007 - 9/27 AF arrived - lasted 4 days
October 2007 - No AF
November 2007 - 11/13 AF arrived - lasted 7 days + 3 days of spotting
December 2007 - AF EXPECTED ON 12/25 or 12/26....

I agree with abouve, test after AF is due and youll get a more accurate result.
