Hi,

I have had 2 of these in the last few months and, yes I think it can make a difference to your cycle length. The doctor said to me the other day that your body knows whether or not it is fit and healthy enough to have a baby, so if you get an infection or illness it can delay, or even stop ovulation on any given month. I know that the last time I had my kidney infection my cycle was longer than normal, same as last month where I had my grandads funeral to go to around O day, delayed everything by a few days as I was stressed!!!
Do you chart, do you know you ovulated this month?

Thanks for replying. No i dont temp or anything so not sure if i did or not, i had a bit of ewcm around 2 june and also 2 weeks before that so we bd'd just in case quite a lot around those times to cover all bases, but i guess it's possible i havent ov'd at all.....bugger!

I still have a bit of hope that the test was wrong but if i am honest i think the witch is just delayed so if this is the case i wish she'd hurry up. How long was she delayed when you had an infection?

Thanks again

Only by a couple of days for me, but wasn't charting then, so don't know if I O'd that month or not, put it this way, I didn't get a BFP that month, but as we have been trying for 9 months now and no sign of a BFP, probably wasn't connected to the UTI!!

Goodluck, hope you get your BFP soon
