Are you ready?

Does anyone have a nursery set up for the new baby?
We've have one half set up...(not set up, but we have a lot of equipment, packed away though - after MC hurt too much to have it up)

I find myself unable to resist a bargain when I pass one that involves baby things. My collection grows everyday!!!
We also have a little pair of yellow booties in my top drawer, as we were told this is an old wives tail that helps you fall pregnant!

Does anyone else collect things while TTC for when we do get the ?

I think once I've got pased the 12-14 week stage then I might start shopping.

I've already got a list, I'm sure it'll change and I probably won't need half the stuff I've written down but it's just so exciting doing the list.

Good luck with TTC x

I haven't for a long time. The first 6 months of TTC I would buy unisex clothes and things, but not going to do anything until I get pregnant - feels like its never gunna happen!

If/When we do get preg, we're getting new carpet for the spare room which will be the nursery and will be painting it. After the 3 month mark I will be going CRAZY buying everything!!!

Yeah I'm the same huni, I think if I do get pregnant again, I won't buy anything til after I've had scans (I will be getting an early one, even if it's private) we started getting stuff straight away last time and we had everything except a cot (but it was sorted) stashed at my Mams....

WHEN

positive woman

On the topic in general I know a couple of girls have bits and have se up this and that whist TTC but I couldn't! I had bits for my lil sister of the last couple of years because shes only a baby herself but I couldn't keep too much tbh! with us it was chemical pregnancies and my past though that would only have made the whole thing heartbreaking if I'd had stuff for 'my' baby under my bed!

Nope, I don't have anything. The spare room will be decorated into a nursery but that won't happen till I'm a long way along (if I ever get pregnant). I don't want anything yet, I think it's bad luck. (Just MO).

Having said that, my parents have already bought a cot for when we stay with them and a slide of all things!!
