HI ladies!! I am posting just because I am really nervous about testing this month. Well, I should take that back, I took a cheapo preg strip test first thing this morning and it was a BFN, but AF isn't due until X-mas. So I don't know what to think or do really. Did I test too early? I don't know what dpo I am on, as I don't know for sure when I O'd. I have some FR hpts that I just bought that is good for early detection, but am thinking that maybe I should just wait until I am really late. Thanks everyone for all your support and kindness! I would wait sweetie, perhaps test on Boxing day? That way if it is isn't a bfp then you won't be in such a disappointed mood on Xmas day...Although I know the wait will be hard....But at least with Xmas you can keep yourself fairly busy!!

I know everyone is different but I tested after AF was 2 days late and got a BFN, the tested again when Af was 5 days late and got a BFP.

It's probably too early to tell. Especially with those strip tests. Wait at least till AF is due or the day after. I really hope you get a BFP this month!!

I agree with the others, it could be too early. I was five days late for AF before I got a BFP!

For all you ladies who finally got a BFP, but who only got it after AF was late...
I have a question...
Did any of you use First Response, which is supposed to tell you BEFORE AF is due? If so, did the FR test manage to give you a positive before AF, or did you still only get a BFP with FR after AF was late???
What I want to know is...if FR isn't giving me a BFP three days before AF is due...does that mean I'm definitely not preggers?

Haven't gotten my BFP yet, but from what I've read, it doesn't mean you're not pg, it just means, if you are pg, that you don't have enough HCG in your system yet to register on the test. You may have implanted later than you thought and HCG doesn't start to get into your system until implantation.

You're not out until AF shows.

I got a BFN 2 days after AF was due using a first response, then bought 2 Tesco cheapies and got 2 BFPs (just to make sure). Seemed to work ok for me.
