I'm Currently Feeling: | What do you think? I've had an IUD for the last 3 1/2 years. I got it out on December 6th so I can TTC. I have had regular although light periods with the IUD about every 32 days. AF should have arrived about five days before I had the IUD removed. I had alot of cramping but no spotting or anything, which happens with IUD. Anyhow, I had my IUD out on the 6th and blood and cramps came within a couple of hours and lasted a few days. I marked this as CD 1. On the 8th my CF was very wet and on the 9th it was eggwhite and alot of it! Was this ovulation? Was it just wierdness? I just put it down to wierdness. BTW BD'd on the 9th. So now it is CD 14, if the 6th was CD 1. It also happens to be 11 days after what seemed like what could be ovulation. I have very tender, heavy sore boobs right now. But maybe it's just my hormones are whacked from trying to get back to normal from the IUD. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | So, are you on CD14 or 14DPO? I'm thinking you are CD14...but I don't know.
If you are 14DPO and AF is late, I'd test. If AF is not late, I'd wait a day or two more and then test (I have longer LP, I think, so I will try not to test until 16dpo or so in the future).
If you are CD14, then I think you may have to wait...I may be reading this thread all wrong, but wanted to reply! If you are here, then you may just be readjusting to being off IUD.

I'm Currently Feeling: | what do you think? hi i havent actually had an IUD myself but my mother has for over 10 years now, last year she was due to have her IUD changed as she had had that one in for 5 years and he doc said she needs a new one but she had to have it out and wait 7 days before having another put back in, in that 7 days she had intercourse once and concieved, she ttold her doc that she had unprotected sex once during the 7 days and he said he cannot put in another one just in case she was pregnant and she would now have to wait until after her next AF, well her AF never came so she took a test and it was positive she went back to the doctor and he told her that when an IUD is removed a woman will become very fertile and the chances of concieveing are very high, my mumhas some seroius health problems and unfortunatly she was advised to not keep the baby so she took the advice of the doctor.
i thought this might help u as i did not know this until it happened to my mum so im thinking maybe u have concieved but also this could just be the result of having the IUD taken out and ur body getting used to that. i hope this helped, have u taken a pregnancy test or is it still too early? i would advise taking a test with clear blue as cheaper ones need alot more hormone to pick it up as clear blue are very sensitive. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thank you...
If it was indeed ovulation then I am only 9 dpo and probably too early to test. I should probably wait awhile.
If it wasn't ovulation and was just wierd hormone stuff then I would be CD 14 and coming close to ovulation now (if everything is working right).
I am sorry to hear about your mom, that must've been very hard for her. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Well on my way home from work I bought Clear Blue tests, BFN. But I tested way too early. I don't even know where exactly in the game I am LOL. I just couldn't help it.
I am feeling lower back pain and cramping now. Maybe I did ovulate when I was bleeding and will get AF in a few days. Any case I'm going to hold out hope. | | | | Status: Offline
