Usually if you click on a ticker you like it will go to the site it came from

Mervs Mom is right. It will take you to the site (there are several) where you input your info and create your own. You then copy and paste the code into the signature editor and it should work.

it dont let you click on the ticker on this site, unless its because i'm using firefox and not IE

That's possible. Some of the popular sites are tickerfactory.com or lilypie.com or daisypath.com. Or just google 'tickers' and it should bring up a bunch!
