This is a bit embarrassing but I'm gonna ask!

Do you think that if you have an orgasm during sex that it increases the chances of conceiving? I'm not one of the women lucky enough to orgasm purely through sex and over the past 7 months of trying, me and my husband have rarely had proper sex (proper sex is what I call sex with an orgasm ). So we have just been trying around my fertile days, literally just for making a baby, not for enjoyment purposes. We have had "proper sex" outside of my fertile time, but my husband says he finds it difficult to enjoy it properly when we are in my fertile time because he knows we are only doing it to make a baby and not because we want to.

However, this month we have been having "proper sex" which obviously makes it a lot more enjoyable rather than me just waiting for him to finish.

I know that obviously an orgasm isn't essential for making babies as, if it was, I don't think the world would be half as populated as it is so what do you think?

If this is my month, I'll be convinced that orgasms do help. Maybe it's nothing to do with the orgasm itself but more to do with enjoying sex.

Yes I heard it helps. I got advise to orgasm after OH has finished as this helps the sperm and also opens the cervix. Ive not looked this up so maybe i got told complete babba =)

See I usually have the orgasm before we actually have sex. Oh well, at least it's been enjoyable this month, rather than a chore!

Oh no, you'll just need to try and wait until he's had his, as this definately helps the sperm to get through your cervix!

I have read and been told that you do not want to orgasm before he ejaculates in you because your cervix swells and he muscles tighten making it harder for the sperm to get up there. You want to orgasm AFTER he has so that it helps move the sperm along to the right place
